Santa Melbourne / Santa Neil undertakes a number of Community and Charity Events leading up to Christmas at Retirement Villages, Hospitals and other Important Charities.

Community and Charity Events can provide a great opportunity to:

• spend “One on One” time with individual families and especially children who may not normally get the opportunity to meet with Santa
• have photographs with all of Santas friends individually and/or with the entire group.
• read Christmas Stories (even special stories such as “A Very Wombat Christmas”)
• spend special time with sick children and older people. Meeting Santa makes everyone happier.
• turn on Christmas Tree lights for the first time for this Christmas Season
• present Awards
• hand out gifts or food hampers
• Santa have breakfast or cookies and milk with your family or team
• check the Naughty and Nice List

All charities and not for profit charity events are very worthy and Santa Melbourne / Santa Neil generally  undertakes these events without being given any “cookie and milk money”.

However Santa Neil has been introduced to “The Kids Cancer Project” which on the face of it is another very worthwhile charity. As the name suggests the charity raises funds by encouraging people to purchase a “soft bear” that is sent to a Children’s Cancer Treatment Hospital in Australia (at your selection) for giving to a sick child. In time for Christmas they have released a Christmas Bear. So if we do a Charity or Community Event for your organisation it would be great if you donated a Bear (or Bears) to a sick child(ren) in hospital(s) through “The Kids Cancer Project”.
